Wade Denny won the second Steer Wrestling go-round at the Lakeside Rodeo.
The 1981 Fallbrook High School graduate had a time of 5.1 seconds in the go-round to earn himself the fastest time among the 20 bulldoggers in that go-round along with the $760 earnings for first place.
“I just got out good and caught him in the right spot and threw him down,” Denny said. “He’s just a good steer.”
