George J. Mattes

George J. Mattes passed away at home in Fallbrook on Sunday, May 29, 2005. A resident of Fallbrook since 1970, George is survived by his wife Winifred, son Glenn, daughter Katherine, son-in-law Dan and dog Otis.

George was born in Clinton, OH, November 14, 1920. He grew up in Hollywood and earned a bachelors degree from the University of Southern California and a masters degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
