Warrior Band receives big rig for travel

The Fallbrook High School Marching Band and its Booster Club found out just how valuable fans can be. Paul Eckert of Eckert’s Moving and Storage happens to be one of those fans.

Eckert, a former San Diego County Supervisor, made the Band Boosters’ dream come true when he offered the group an International tractor and 35-foot trailer rig suitable to transport the 100-piece band’s instruments, uniforms and other equipment to statewide competitions. Estimated value? $25,000. Eckert must have a background as a band member himself, right? No, but he sure had the desire.
