The 66 eighth-grade students who attended the Washington, DC, trip got back on June 3. The opportunity to see all the famous monuments and places was amazing and appreciated by all the students. Many of us on the trip mourned for the deceased at the Vietnam Memorial and the Holocaust Museum. We also saw things we thought we might not be able to see in our lifetime and had only seen in pictures before, such as the Capitol Building, the White House, the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. The tour guides also all did a wonderful job and taught us so much about all the incredible sights...
