Fallbrook Airpark surpasses Oceanside, Borrego Valley in operations

The County Airports newsletter Plane News indicated that Fallbrook Community Airpark had 22,728 operations in 2004, which places it seventh among the 12 public airports in San Diego County.

The 2004 traffic count represents a 24-percent increase over the 2003 count of 18,292 operations. Fallbrook ranked ninth among the airports in 2003 and surpassed Oceanside Municipal Airport and Borrego Valley Airport during 2004.

“I think it’s the improvements that are ongoing at the airport,” said Peter Drinkwater, the Director of County Airports. “There are more things that Fallbrook is offering.”
