Mission Rd. project begins, amounts to $3.4 million

FALLBROOK — The County of San Diego began work Monday on phase two of the improvements to Mission Road in Fallbrook. The project runs from Pepper Tree Lane to Clemmens Lane and will allow more cars, bicycles and pedestrians to use the road. It is scheduled for completion by next summer.

“Our goal is to provide the community with improvements to enhance their quality of life with as little disruption as possible during construction,” said Project Manager Steve Ron from the County’s Department of Public Works. “This phase will extend the improvements that started in phase one at Winterhaven.”
