Adams ties for third in NAIA nationals, leads after two rounds

Kenny Adams came within 36 holes of following his 2004 CIF San Diego Section individual golf championship with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics national championship.

The 2004 Fallbrook High School graduate, who now plays collegiate golf for Cal State University San Marcos, tied for third at the NAIA national championship tournament May 24-27 in Olathe, KS. Adams led the tournament after two rounds before his 72-hole score of 284 fell three strokes shy of the championship score.
