Metzler earns NAIA All-American honors

Christina Metzler received NAIA All-American honors for her performance at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics track and field national finals in Louisville May 26-28.

Metzler, who runs for Point Loma Nazarene University, was on the 4x800 relay team which finished sixth at the NAIA nationals. The top six finishers at the NAIA nationals earn All-American status.

“I’m really excited. Very happy that I got to take an award home with me,” Metzler said.
