Zeringue gives verbal to U of M

FALLBROOK — Fallbrook High School junior Alex Zeringue has given a verbal commitment to play field hockey at the University of Michigan next fall.

Zeringue has been playing field hockey at Fallbrook High for three years under the direction of Fallbrook’s field hockey coach Kathy Waite. This past season Zeringue was named First Team All Avocado League and First Team All CIF.

Several schools have been courting the junior over the past year but she has since decided to attend the Unversity of Michigan in the fall of 2006.
