Diabetes educator now at Fallbrook Hospital

More than 18 million Americans suffer from diabetes. It was the sixth leading cause of death in the United States in the year 2000. Overall, the risk for death among young people with diabetes is about twice that of people without diabetes.

One of the best ways to fight this insidious disease is with education. To that end, Fallbrook Hospital welcomed Janine Greeno-Loescher, RD, CDE, CLE, to their staff on June 1.

Janine has been a certified diabetes educator for 11 years and comes to us most recently from Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego.
