Admiral Funding finds home in Fallbrook

Dick and Pat Feldmiller, owners of Admiral Funding, do business from an idyllic setting: their Norman Rockwell-like home on the banks of a pond filled with ducks and frogs. But it hasn’t always been so. Dick started in finance with Wells Fargo in 1956 after graduating from UC Davis with a major in agricultural economics. For 17 years, his job took him all over California. After two years in Hollywood, Dick had had just about enough of the city life. “You can take the boy out of the country,” he says, “but it doesn’t mean he’s going to like it.”
