Rainbow Valley Grange holds luau dinner

Rainbow Valley Grange welcomed a new member at its September meeting, initiating Bob Lathrop of Fallbrook. Bob joins his wife Tracy in the Grange, as well as their daughter Jenna, who belongs to Rainbow Valley Junior Grange.

Membership in the Grange is open to anyone 13-and-a-half years old and up, while the Junior Grange is for 5- to 13-year-olds. A family and community service organization, the Grange was also known as Patrons of Husbandry when it was first founded in 1867 to aid farmers after the Civil War.
