Regency Fallbrook now offering short-term stays

Regency Fallbrook Retirement & Assisted Living Community recognizes the need to care for the caregivers of the elderly. Regency is now offering temporary stays for frail or ill elderly. This “respite” program provides caregivers an opportunity for temporary relief from the pressures and duties of caring for the elderly — pressures that can lead to serious health problems such as fatigue, depression, self-neglect and neglect of other family members.

Regency’s respite stays may last from two days to a week or a month. Caring, trained staff will design a care plan with the caregiver, a plan that will include recreational, social and medical assistance. The guest will enjoy the same amenities as the permanent residents. The guest can expect a beautifully furnished room with a private bath; three delicious meals and snacks daily; many activities, both in Regency and in the community; transportation; and assistance with medical needs.

Think of this as an opportunity to give two deserving people a special gift: time out for the caregiver and a change of scenery for the elderly.

With the holidays approaching, Regency is also an option for the visiting elderly.

You may call Jane at Regency, (760) 728-8504, for rates and more information regarding this very special service.
