Educational tour of reserve Oct. 22

FALLBROOK — The Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve (SMER) will be holding a docent-led educational tour on Saturday, October 22, at 8:30 a.m. This tour begins at the south gate of SMER (in Fallbrook) and traverses the reserve to the Temecula Gorge. This is a six-mile roundtrip, moderately strenuous hike. Join us to view the beautiful natural habitat and learn about some of the cutting edge research that is occurring in this protected outdoor laboratory.
