Mahjong tournament features quilt raffle

FALLBROOK — If you haven’t already made your reservations for the American Association of University Women’s (AAUW) Oct. 21 Mahjong Tournament, there is still a bit of time left. A beautiful nativity quilt made by one of Fallbrook’s premier quilters, Araxy Moosa, will be raffled. The tournament, which will be held at the Fallbrook Public Utility Building from 1 to 4 p.m., is open to the public. Reservations may be made by calling Araxy at (760) 723-2262 or Barbara Loehnert at (760) 723-0357 and the cost is $10 per player, which includes refreshments.
