Fallbrook High School’s field hockey team had to go to strokes to win its league opener, but the Warriors prevailed in their Avocado League season debut October 7 at Rancho Buena Vista.
“I’ll take it,” said Fallbrook coach Kathy Waite.
Rancho Buena Vista is a physical team. “I was very proud of my girls for not allowing their intimidation and physicalness to distract from what they had to do in the game,” Waite said.
