Cosme, Mitchell and Mitchell receive FFA degrees

FALLBROOK — Chris Cosme, Nick Mitchell and Cassidy Mitchell, members of the Fallbrook FFA Chapter, recently received the American FFA Degree. By earning this degree they are in a select group of individuals to be recognized for years of academic professional excellence. The honor was presented on Oct. 29 at the 78th National Convention held in Louisville, KY.

The American FFA Degree recognizes demonstrated leadership ability and outstanding achievements in agricultural business, production, processing or service programs. Members must have earned and productively invested $7,500 through a supervised program in which they start, own or hold a professional position. Recipients must also make it their mission to demonstrate leadership abilities and community involvement. Each award recipient receives a gold American FFA Degree key, a certificate and a wallet.
