NCFPD Beebe speaks to Kiwanis

FALLBROOK — James Beebe of North County Fire Protection District (NCFPD) recently addressed the Fallbrook Kiwanis Club. Mr. Beebe spoke about the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), sponsored by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). FEMA is providing funds to support the training of CERT. The concept of CERT is to have trained teams available in the event of disasters such as fires, earthquakes and other emergency events.
