Racers bring cars to Potter fundraiser

Five racecar drivers brought their cars to a Potter Junior High School fundraiser September 27 at Cold Stone Creamery.

Mike Salm brought his Grand American Modified racecar, and Kevin Martin took the Cruiser car he drives at Perris Auto Speedway to the fundraiser, Scott Denton appeared with his Bomber Stock car and Mike McGlone was present with the Bomber Stock driven by McGlone and owned by Roy and Linda Costello.

The drivers also signed pictures and gave away candy. “All of them were very supportive. They were great,” said Tammy Atteberry, who organized the fundraiser.
