Board meetings combined to accommodate holiday season

The November board meeting for the Fallbrook Public Utility District will be combined with the December meeting in order to accommodate the upcoming holiday season. That meeting will be Monday, Dec. 12, beginning at 4 p.m. at the district office, 990 E. Mission Road.

A public hearing will also be held during that meeting when customers can voice opinions or concerns with the district’s Urban Water Management Plan. The 100-plus-page document is a requirement all urban water suppliers must submit to the Department of Water Resources every five years. It is considered a source of information for water supply and demand, specific to the local water agency, and is required in order for a water supplier to be eligible for DWR-administered state grants and loans and drought assistance.

A draft copy of the document will be available for review, upon request, prior to the meeting.

For more information, contact Noelle Denke at (760) 728-1125, ext. 1127, or visit the district’s Web site at http://www.fpud.com.
