Children raise money for service project

FALLBROOK — Under the direction of the Primary leaders, the 4- to 11-year-old children of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Second Ward, decorated cans and created their own coin banks to save enough coins to purchases eyeglasses for those in need in Ghana, Africia. The Siepherts, parents of Cody Alkema of Fallbrook Second Ward, are currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ghana. With their assistance and the monies raised from the children, 27 pairs of eyeglasses will be purchased for those in need....
