Literacy tutors needed

FALLBROOK — On October 25, at their regular weekly meeting at the Grand Tradition, Fallbrook Rotary heard a presentation from Maxine Allison, a participant in the LEARN literacy program. The literacy program is in need of volunteers who are willing to help adults with their reading and writing skills.

“I have been working with a literacy tutor for over two years and my tutor is leaving Fallbrook,” Allison said. “I have made a lot of progress toward by GED but I still have a ways to go.” Allison expressed her hope that more volunteers would come forward to help her and others obtain their goal....
