VCMWD may provide service to 1,150-home Pardee development

VC Municipal Water District (VCMWD) could annex the tiny San Luis Rey Municipal Water District and provide service to the 1,150-home Pardee development near I-15 if LAFCO decides that’s the best option. LAFCO (Local Agency Formation Commission) is a state commission that oversees boundaries of special districts.

Representatives of Pardee Homes, who want water and sewer services for the proposed Meadowood development, spoke to the VC water board on Oct. 17 about the possibility of VCMWD providing such service.
