Village Rotary assists Marines, donations of items sought

FALLBROOK — Fallbrook Village Rotary Club has embarked on two special projects to help support Marines based out of Camp Pendleton.

In organizing the first project, Steve Achard and Denny Lindeman met with SSgt. Robert Talley, who informed the Rotarians that there were 1,000 Marines with the 2nd Battalion in the First Marine Division presently deployed in Iraq who could use donations of simple items that the military doesn’t provide.
