Peace Patrol vital to Live Oak Elementary student safety

FALLBROOK — Live Oak Elementary knows that a child’s sense of safety and comfort affects the way he/she learns. For that reason, they are taking extra steps this year to determine and target specific safety problems. Part of this process includes the new Peace Patrol, which is made up of 44 third- through sixth-graders. These students focus on three things during lunch time: rewarding students doing well through STAR tickets, reminding students of the school’s rules and surveying students to identify areas of need in the area of safety.
