Concept plan for San Luis Rey River Park completed

The concept plan for the San Luis Rey River Park was completed in early October.

The concept plan is the master plan without the environmental documentation. It identifies the proposed boundaries of the park and evaluates the suitability of land for recreational facilities and open space preservation. The plan also identifies active recreation zones in select locations, although most of the park will be open space. The linear park is expected to total between 1,500 and 1,600 acres of land.
