The County of San Diego has set a December 7 hearing date for the acquisition of the first parcels of land for the future San Luis Rey River Park.
A 4-0 Board of Supervisors vote November 9, with Supervisor Dianne Jacob in Washington to provide testimony to a House of Representatives committee, sets the hearing date to approve the acquisition of four parcels totaling 116.56 acres. The county would purchase the four parcels, which are currently vacant and owned by San Luis Rey Downs Enterprises, LLC, for $3,200,000.
