CWA approves SONGS desal feasibility study contracts

The San Diego County Water Authority approved two agreements October 19 on the feasibility study of a regional seawater desalination facility at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station.

The CWA board approved the award of a professional services contract to RBF Consulting for a detailed feasibility study and approved a cooperative agreement with the Municipal Water District of Orange County delineating funding and other responsibilities for the contract.
