Warrior Marching Band competes in state championship

The FHS Warrior Band concluded their marching season at the exciting “Western Band Association Championship” held in Long Beach on Saturday, November 19.

Sixty-four high school bands attended from throughout the state and the competition was fierce. The Warriors performed a musical program entitled “Voyages Extraordinaires,” which describes the travels of Jules Verne. It was a beautifully executed performance that displayed precision in marching and musical excellence. The Warriors placed seventh in their 2A class. Classification is based on the total number of performers in each band. The Warriors have 66 performers this year.

The spirit of this competition provided a “winning” experience for everyone involved. Congratulations, Warrior Marching Band, for an outstanding season!

The band will march in the Fallbrook Christmas Parade on December 3 and will then begin their concert season with a Christmas concert on December 8 at the Bob Burton Performing Arts Center.
