All three Warrior doubles teams reach second round, Pearson and Wedeking to round of 16

All three of Fallbrook High School’s doubles teams reached at least the second round of the CIF individual tennis tournament, and the team of Michelle Pearson and Mallory Wedeking advanced one round further to the round of 16.

“We were optimistic,” said Fallbrook coach Dave Ramirez. “Our attitudes were great.”

Wedeking and Pearson earned the tenth seed in the doubles tournament. They won their first two rounds, each by 6-1 and 6-3 games, over Eastlake and Grossmont teams before losing all 12 games to the sixth-seeded Poway team in the round of 16.
