Allen runs Formula V at Firebird Raceway

Dennis Allen needed a race to keep his Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) regional license, so he competed in the November 5 and November 6 races at Firebird Raceway in Chandler, AZ.

“The track’s kind of really a nice track,” Allen said of his first visit to Firebird Raceway.

“It was kind of intimate,” Allen explained. “They all treated me real well.”

SCCA racers need to compete in at least two races a year to keep their regional license; if they do not meet that minimum they must return to driving school to re-obtain their license. Allen had surgery which kept him from competing in SCCA races...
