Fatal accident on Olive Hill Rd.

Ron Thatcher of the Temecula Office of the California Highway Patrol reported that at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, a three-car accident occurred on Olive Hill Road near Mackey Road. 62-year-old Alfonso Cornejo of Fallbrook died at the scene of the accident and his passenger, his 30-year-old son, was transported to Palomar Medical Center. Cornejo was driving a 1993 Cadillac, traveling west on Olive Hill Road at a high rate of speed and approached a curve in the road at approximately 50 miles per hour.
