Firesafe Council distributes evacuation map, also available online

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Firesafe Council recently held a community forum for disaster preparedness where the Evacuation Maps for the Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow and DeLuz areas were distributed. The map was a combined effort of the Council and the North County Fire Protection District. The map was distributed to homeowners in late October; however, some did not recognize it and threw it away. The map lists Fallbrook’s escape routes and temporary safe zones in the event of a disaster requiring exiting the area.
