Rancho Monserate golf carts on parade

On December 4, thirty festive golf carts slowly wound their way around the Rancho Monserate senior community to the delight of the residents. Each cart was unique and so well decorated that the judges, Mary Helgamo, Helen Albright and Dave Fletcher, were having quite a time deciding on winners. Several versions of Santa visited residents, and a pink flamingo sporting reindeer antlers was perched on top of one cart above a sign that read: “Reinbird on Roof.”
