A rash of mail thefts has plagued Fallbrook over the past three weeks, reports Sheriff’s Deputy Tim Anderson.
“The outlying areas of Fallbrook are being hit the hardest,” Anderson said. “We are finding mail dumped in different locations in Fallbrook after it has been gone through.”
Anderson said the thieves are partial to easy-open mailboxes and have hit roads including East Alvarado, Yucca, Tumble Creek and Barbados.
