GMS moves all museum items to Alvarado St.

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society held its annual meeting on Thursday, December 8. Chair and board members gave brief reports. There was a silent auction and election of officers for the 2006 year.

Following the meeting members and guests feasted on the “Favorite Holiday Treats” buffet provided by club members. The silent auction was co-chaired by Vanessa Jones and Erich Kern, with help from Jase Pollard.

The organization has also announced that it has closed its museum at the Rocky Crest location and moved to 123 Alvarado, Suite B, effective immediately. (Historical Society Museum still located at Rocky Crest.) Gem and Mineral Museum hours are Thursday and Friday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and some Saturdays and Sundays.
