Forty sing carols for shut-ins

FALLBROOK — Forty members of Fallbrook United Methodist Church formed a caravan and visited shut-ins at Fallbrook Nursing Facility, Fallbrook Gardens Rest Home and Silvergate Retirement Residence. The group ranged from 4 years of age and up. The group sang several songs of the season and several greeted members of the facilities, providing a personal touch of caring. One member of the troop was Girl Scout Sheri Vilona of Girl Scout Troop 4042, who passed out peppermint candy as cheers to the shut-ins. Sheri was wearing her Girl Scout uniform....
