SONGS program, park projects among county's first-quarter budget adjustments

A first-quarter budget surplus led to several mid-year budget adjustments approved December 13 by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, including the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station emergency services program and local parks.

The supervisors established additional appropriations of $7,000 for the SONGS program, $30,000 for the Fallbrook Sports Park project and $77,000 for various Department of Parks and Recreation projects.
