Compare British system to ours

I have been watching British Parliamentary procedures on CNN and specifically “Question Time.” This is where the Prime Minister answers questions put to him by members of Parliament and from both sides of the aisle! This is democracy in action in its finest form. Questions are pointed, searching and knowledgeable and require an immediate response. The Prime Minister has to be in command of his facts and has to be “fast on his feet!” Compare and contrast that system with what passes for democracy in the USA.
