RMWD board irresponsible

As a Rainbow Municipal Water District ratepayer, I would like to say that board members (past and present) have demonstrated once again how irresponsible they are by putting this district in the position of being fined $13,000 for not adhering to Department of Health directives. There is no excuse for the flagrant disregard they show for the taxpayers’ money, let alone the endangerment of the public when it comes to the health standards of water.

I think the best solution is for the state to step in and organize the consolidation of this district into another one that has a better track record of managing water resources. Maybe then we will have a reliable utility and responsible management of taxpayers’ money.
