The San Diego County Board of Supervisors approved a pest exclusion revenue contract with the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
The $1,417,369 contract combines three previously separate contracts and reimburses the county for the nursery stock inspections, seed services, and Sudden Oak Death programs. A 5-0 Board of Supervisors vote December 14 authorized Agricultural Commissioner Kathleen Thuner to sign the necessary documents. The contract will reimburse the county for fiscal year 2005-06 program expenses.
