Ruth Hellams, principal of Fallbrook High School, was the winner of the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County’s first annual Shopping Spree held at Major Market on December 21. Mrs. Hellams designated her husband, Jeff, to do the honors and in five minutes he garnered over $1900 worth of groceries. The club hopes to make this an annual event. Tickets were sold for $20 each and 300 tickets were sold.
