Metzler-De Haan engaged

Karese Danielle Metzler of Fallbrook and Nicholas John De Haan of Escondido have announced their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Ken & Lisa Metzler of Fallbrook. She is a 2002 graduate of Fallbrook High School and a 2005 graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in animal science.

The future groom is the son of Klaas & Joan De Haan of Escondido. He is a 1999 graduate of Calvin Christian High School and a 2004 graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is a civil engineer with Nolte Associates.

The wedding will be in late January at Riverview Church in Bonsall. The couple plans to spend their honeymoon in Cancun and will live in Escondido.
