Nelsons Volunteers of Year

Fallbrook residents Al and Marcia Nelson have received the Volunteer of the Year award from the North County Philanthropy Council for their work with the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP). Trauma Intervention Programs (TIP) of San Diego County, Inc., a nonprofit organization, partners with the North County Fire Protection District and the Sheriff’s Department and assists on the scene after a tragedy has occurred. The Nelsons received their award at the North County Philanthropy Council annual luncheon.
