FALLBROOK — On Monday, December 19, and Tuesday, December 20, six Fallbrook High School varsity wrestlers were in Reno, NV, competing in the annual “Tournament of Champions.” This national tournament began with a college tournament on the weekend where the Oklahoma State wrestling team took first place.
During the two-day high school tournament there were 2,000 matches in which 984 wrestlers from 94 high school teams competed. This is a double elimination tournament; wrestlers are not eliminated until they lose two matches.
