AVID, AAUW celebrate holiday season

FALLBROOK — The AVID girls from Fallbrook High School enjoyed the Christmas season with their mentors from the American Association of University Women (AAUW). To prepare for their celebration most of the girls made cookies with their mentors at the mentors’ homes. Shortly after, the girls and mentors went to the home of Chris Young with their goodies and enjoyed a buffet prepared by the mentors. Songs were sung, gifts were exchanged, food was enjoyed and the happy spirits of all resounded throughout Fallbrook.
