Marion Estel "Tom" Thompson

Marion Estel “Tom” Thompson, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2005, at the Fallbrook Skilled Nursing Facility in Fallbrook. He was born February 8, 1915, in Sheridan, WY. The father of former Assemblyman Bruce Thompson, he and his wife, Lucille, came to live with Bruce’s family in June of 1994. Mr. Thompson has resided in Fallbrook since. Lucille preceded him in death in August of 1997.

Mr. and Mrs. Thompson retired to New Plymouth, ID, in 1976 after many years as California schoolteachers. Mr. Thompson held a Master’s degree from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. H...
