FALLBROOK — On Sunday, January 15, future brides, grooms, their bridal parties and families attended the annual Bridal Faire hosted by the Grand Tradition. Future brides and grooms from as far away as New York sampled food, took carriage rides, met wedding vendors, tasted wedding cakes and got decorating and planning ideas for their weddings scheduled in 2006 and 2007.
Only brides and grooms booked at the Grand Tradition were included and the event was not open to the public. Over 150 brides attended with guest reservations exceeding 500.
Since the Grand Tradition has such a busy schedule it is difficult to conduct food samplings for individual wedding parties, several years ago the idea of an annual bridal faire was developed. Because of the popularity of this event, future brides and grooms are invited to attend the bridal faire with two additional guests.
According to Vice-President/CEO Don McDougal, many couples get engaged over the holiday season and wedding planning is at a frenzied pace.
