Fallbrook JV wrestlers medal at Vista tournament

Last Thursday the Fallbrook High School boys wrestling teams fought valiantly against the Vista High School wrestlers, one of the best teams in their league. Although the varsity team lost, both the freshman and JV teams won their portions of this season’s first Home Dual.

Then on Saturday, 12 of JV wrestlers competed against wrestlers from 15 other schools in the Vista JV Tournament. Three brought home medals: Jon Ewers at 112 lbs. took third place, while Shannon Cone at 152 lbs. and Ray Valdez at 275 lbs. each took fourth place.
