Floyd Le Roy Hampson, Jr., 74, passed away on January 16, 2006, in Riverside, CA, of natural causes. He was born on January 10, 1932, in National City, CA. He was a resident of Temecula, CA, for 26 years.
Mr. Hampson was born and raised in San Diego and Los Angeles. He raced and belonged to car clubs. He owned his own plastics company (Deco Plastics). He worked and retired from the Rainbow Water District and enjoyed outdoor sports, fishing, hunting and hiking.
Mr. Hampson was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Hampson in 1996 and both parents. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Josie Hampson, Temecula, CA; sons & daughters-in-law Troy & Lisa Hampson, Lake Elsinore, CA, and Lee & Corinne Pinney, Long Beach, CA; daughters Teresa Hampson, Temecula, CA, and Nora Kemock, Anaheim, CA; sister Florice Martin, San Marcos, CA; brothers-in-law Bill & Ben Hall, Normandy Park, CA; grandchildren David, Wesley, Nicole, Robert, Crystal, Roni, Tyler, Blake, David and Josh; and great-grandchildren Hunter, Kaitlyn and Malaysia.
Services were held on January 21, 2006, with burial at the Temecula Valley Cemetery on January 23, 2006. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
